Service and Support

Many organisations offer a choice of competitive products but we understand that today’s customer requires more than that. Our success has been built on the expertise and dedication of our team. Whether advising on new machine installations or repairing and returning equipment to its original specifications, our reputation for technical know-how and good old-fashioned professionalism is without peer in our industry.

The Kerf Way

To get the most out of any piece of equipment, we believe that regular scheduled servicing is a must. Whenever a complex machine tool is looked after properly, its lifespan becomes longer and pound for pound, more productivity is achieved. At Kerf, our range of profiling machines, when serviced in accordance with our guidelines, will provide users with the best possible levels of reliability.

Aside from ensuring that your equipment is operating at peak performance, an additional benefit of using the Kerf team of engineers to maintain and service your equipment is that they will also check for potential problem areas and report them back to you - before they become a costly issue.

The frequency and scope of any Kerf service visits will depend entirely on the types of machines and the environments in which they are operating. Our customers benefit from a wide range of service contracts, each of which is designed to suit the user’s particular application. These vary from ‘light duty’ users where people may be using their equipment on a single shift, right through to our ‘heavy duty’ users who are running their units around the clock. The desired frequency of any servicing schedule would be assessed and advised accordingly.

Where any piece of oxy-fuel, plasma or waterjet equipment may have been supplied by a third party, the Kerf team will always be happy to quote for repair and replacement work. Subject to the age, type and condition of the equipment, we may be able to offer an ongoing scheduled service contract once it has been restored to an operational condition.
